I have always loved simple themes that have hidden today. I couldn't find one that I loved, so I decided to make one myself. The pictures are pretty self explanatory as to what the theme can do. Like always this theme is pink, and girly, just the way I like them

I am a HUGE baseball fan, and as opening day approaches, I had to find myself a theme of my favourite team and sport. Unfortunately most baseball themes out there are very masculine, so I figured I'd make my own...this is what came from that idea :)

Everything that can be colorized is, also some hot keys as well, thanks to dannieloco for the svg :)

Right now all I have are the screen shots, waiting on someone to OTA host it for me.

Blackberry Slider: Yay or Nay

I've been asked to do a review on the upcoming "Blackberry Slider". My first impression, I HATE it! It does to me what the Pearl Flip first did to me. In my eyes it does not look like a blackberry at all. Experts are saying that this Slider will be a part of the "Bold" line of blackberry. As an original Bold user, I find this almost insulting. This device has no resemblance to the Bold series what so ever.

Being a marketing major, I do understand why Blackberry would unveil such a device. There are non- Blackberry users who despise blackberry because of the form factor, because they do not like open phones. And this device will certainly capture the interest of those. I am interested however in seeing how the touch screen performs.

As far as the internals, it is probably going to have the same "guts" as the 9700, with maybe more memory. It will also be shipped with OS 6.0

So the final verdict...if this is where blackberry is headed with their new devices, I will be gripping even tighter to my current, and perfect for me device, Bold 9000.

So he's done it again. dannieloco has rolled out yet another sweet theme for us Bold 9000 users.

This theme uses very realistic Mac icons.
Is super smooth
No lag what-so-ever from device after installing
All custom icons
Great transitions
Transparent menus
OS 5.0 only

This theme isn't avaliable yet, but I have been given the go ahead to post the file up for testers.

New pink housing has arrived!!!

Yay! Today is a good day. My new pink housing has finally arrived, and within minutes I had it on, and loved it. However, there are a few problems right off the bat that I have already contacted the seller about and hopefully will resolve it without much problem.

The keyboard, where the ALT key is broken, which is making it a little hard to push the button.
The pink bezzle mute button does not press down, which means I cannot put a "keyboard" lock on

*UPDATE* Seller just replied, and will be replacing both parts! YAY ME!!!!

I am loading up a few pics, and will keep you posted if and when the seller responds...till then me and my pinkberry will wait

if you notice right under the ALT key a part is missing

I just tested a great theme by dannieloco (Crackberry user) for the Bold 9000. I am more a girly theme fan, and although this one isn't "girly" its a great neutral theme, and one that I will be keeping on my bb.

It is hidden today
Has a weather slot
Smooth transitions
Completely modified icons
Doesn't lag, and doesn't eat up memory

For all us Bold 9000 users, this is definitely something to keep an eye out for

Bold 5.0.0.509 leak review

I was finally able to download the leaked OS for the bold this morning. As so far so good.

Memory leak seems about the same compared to the .464.
Battery seems to be much better
Browser is quicker
Lock function is WORKING. Pressing "a" locks the keyboard to password required, and the mute button unlocks it
WIFI is instant
3G issues seem to be fixed. I had horrible 3G with the previous .464 It seems to be working fine now

All in all its a good OS to download. WAY better than the .464 which I HATED!!!

My steps to download

Add/Remove/Uninstall all previous OS on computer
Download new OS http://tinyurl.com/ye4mfnu
Install new OS
Go to Program Files > Common Files >Research In Motion > AppLoader Delete Vendor XML then click Loader exe. and follow instructions
Notice I skip DM all together...I find this has worked BEST FOR ME

My new favourite sports theme

I came across a link for a great sports theme yesterday on CB. The user b15ginz makes any sports theme, baseball, football, basketball...u name it he can probably do it. He completely will customize your theme to any way you want and will take the time to do so. I am currently sporting a truly girly Blue Jays theme, in pink, and love it!

For $5 it is totally worth every penny. If you want a theme exactly the way you want it...he is the guy...check him out

The creator is dannieloco, and I must say he out did himself. This theme is a hidden today and very smooth. It would also look good with any of the baseball wallpapers I have posted.

So last week I ordered my full pink housing for my bold. It should get here within the next week or so. I can’t wait. I have already changed my trackball from the OEM white to a black, so I doubt it will be much more different than that. I will post pics the second I get it on. For now here’s a picture of the housing itself.

This is the theme I have on my Bold right now It is from BBBM Themes- Diamond Sketch, and it is just great. It has a full screen hidden today, which I love because without my blackberry calendar, I am LOST. I do wish the theme was pink as opposed to blue, but oh well It works great with dark wallpaper.

She doesn’t do many Bold 9000 themes, but the ones she does are gorgeous! Check her out, she is extremely talented!

So I’m finally doing it. After the countless comments from my family and friends I am starting my own Blackberry blog. Over the past year I have become what most people would classify as “obsessed” with my blackberry. And instead of keeping it all inside my head; or worse annoying my family and friends with it, I am going to be posting things on here YAY!!!
